An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher to join a dynamic department at a well-established secondary school located to the east of Birmingham. The school are committed to providing a high-quality education and believe that every student deserves an exceptional learning experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate our students in the field of Physical Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Promote physical fitness, health, and well-being through innovative and motivating teaching methods.
  • Organise and oversee extra-curricular sports activities and events to encourage student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for physical activity among students.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in Education or Physical Education is advantageous.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching PE at secondary school level is highly desirable.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
