Fashion Archivist and Collections Assistant

Do you have a passion for fashion? A background in archival research, collections or museums and interest in bringing the two together? Then we have an amazing opportunity working with a leading fashion media business based in central London!

The role is initially on a 6 month temporary basis and you will be based in one of the most iconic offices in the fashion industry! Your experience in collections will be essential as well as grounding and interest in fashion and popular culture.

You will manage the extensive archive and library as well as keep the digital database up to date. As part of a wider collections team you will assist with licensing and Intellectual Property queries as well as assist staff on research projects.

You should have a good library/ museums and archivist experience already including experience handling and moving valuable items and fragile materials. You will have exposure to image library collections as well as physical items and books.

You will possess a meticulous eye for detail, have strong communication skills, written and verbal and have a good working knowledge of Excel as well as databases.
