Job Title: Farm Hand

ISQ Recruitment is assisting a reputable client in the agriculture sector to fill the role of a Farm Hand. Passionate about animal welfare? Join our client as a Farm Hand and contribute to the highest standards of bird welfare and husbandry. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining bird welfare, following Farm Manager instructions, managing litter, and ensuring personal safety and biosecurity.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the farm team in upholding welfare and production standards.
  • Follow Farm Manager instructions for proper bird husbandry.
  • Manage litter and maintain a clean environment.
  • Prepare for chick arrivals and bird departures.
  • Keep the farm tidy and secure.
  • Observe safe working practices and wear protective gear.
Requirements:
  • No experience necessary, comprehensive training provided.
  • Genuine interest in chicken farming and animal welfare.
  • Own transport due to remote location.
  • Team player with a flexible approach to varying hours.
  • Willingness to work weekends and undertake necessary duties.
