Farm Worker / Farm Hand / Stock Person

Our client is a high end pig producer based in North Norfolk near Holt & Melton Constable and supply restaurants with high quality pork.  Due to expansion they require a Farm Hand / Stock Person to join the team and help with the livestock.

The breed and manage the livestock from breeding to market.

You will need to be a driver or live very local due to location.

You will need a Category F Driving licence as the role will involve driving a tractor.

The role is a permanent position.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30-4 30pm plus every other weekend Saturday and Sundays 8.30am-11am

The Role:

Busy and varied role on the successful farm including:

• Feeding animals
• Jet washing equipment
• Cleaning the farm and livestock areas
• Putting  in straw and bedding
• Keeping the fields tidy and clean

This is a hands on busy role and needs someone who is physically fit and comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
