Family Support Worker - Cheshire

Prospero Health & Social Care is recruiting for experienced Family Support Workers with a background in helping guide and support vulnerable children and families, to work flexible shifts and contracts in Cheshire and surrounding areas.

As a Family Support Worker, you will support families to live safely and independently in the community or family home and you will be responsible for:

• Helping families in need of practical or emotional support.
• Offer hands-on help to support parents in providing a better environment and lifestyle for their children.
• Ensuring safety for children and families.
• Empower parents and provide practical parenting advise to ensure healthy family engagement from parent to child.
• Promote healthy routines for daily living (meals, bedtimes, social)
• Documenting all observations with accuracy.

To be a successful Family Support Worker you should have:

• Minimum of six months experience working within a similar setting.
• Holder of the Right to Work in the UK.
• Driver's licence (desirable)
• Ability to complete our compliance requirements (includes DBS, References, Training)
• Level 3 Children & Young People (desirable)
