Family Solicitor - Liverpool We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated Family Solicitor to join the Family department based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Department and will join a highly professional and motivated team. * Primary responsibility is to earn fees by advising on various Family and Children law matters, both private and public. * Expected to manage own caseload with a high degree of self-management and initiative. * Communication skills are crucial for interactions with partners, colleagues, and clients. Key Responsibilities: * Earn fees by actively working towards individual and departmental targets. * Manage and advise on allocated Family and Children Law cases, including private and public matters, domestic abuse, non-molestation, etc. * Attend client meetings and negotiate to secure agreed objectives. * Attend court hearings, prison visits, police stations, and other off-site requirements. * Provide advocacy, draft legal documents, and various court applications. * Stay updated with changes in the law. * Contribute towards business development by identifying opportunities to expand business. * Provide advice and guidance to other employees, including supervising and training. * Ensure compliance with processes, procedures, and standards such as Lexcel. * Maintain confidentiality of firm's and client's documentation and information. * Be actively involved in business development activities and networking.
