Family Solicitor
Achieve Professionals is seeking an experience Family Solicitor to join a leading North East law firm that takes a real pride in the work they do for their clients.
Position: Family Solicitor - 4 to 6 years PQE
Location: Newcastle
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters that include divorce and dissolution, high value financial remedy cases, Children Act and Schedule 1 proceedings, Nuptial Agreements, TOLATA cases and arbitration.
- Lots of client contact including building trust, rapport and managing expectations
- Provide legal advice
- Draft applications, deeds and agreements
- Advocacy
- Business development
Qualifications & Experience:
- Have 4-6 years PQE of handling your own privately funded family law matters to include those set out above.
Skills & Attributes:
- Must be highly organised and have the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Be comfortable working in a diverse and busy team.
- Excellent IT skills and a good attention to details are essential.
- A methodical approach to work with strong verbal and written communication skills.
