Family - Legal Secretary

I’m delighted to be working with a leading firm in Leamington Spa, who have been a client of ours for many years and who are currently going through a fantastic period of growth an expansion. As a result, they are keen to add a Family Legal Secretary to their team in Leamington Spa. Ideally, they would like to recruit a Legal Secretary with experience of working for partners and fee earners in a Family department.

Based in modern, well-equipped offices, close to local commuter links and with onsite parking, this role would suit an experienced Legal Secretary with experience in Family department able to commute to Leamington Spa. 

Duties and responsibilities of the Legal Secretary in Family:

  • Two years experience prior in a law firm as a Legal Secretary in Family
  • Audio typing (Big Hand)
  • Typing and drafting correspondence
  • Amending documents
  • Diary Management
  • Booking meetings
  • Assisting with and drafting bills
  • Arranging and booking travel andaccommodation
  • Opening, maintaining and closing files
  • Archiving files
  • Updating and maintaining databases
  • Scanning and preparing documentation
  • General administration ie. filing, faxing,photocopying etc
