We are currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join CAFCASS' North Wales office. The role will run on an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of a short-term extension. As part of the CAFCASS team, you will be involved in private law matters, working to safeguard children, usually involving disagreements between parents about the best arrangements for their children. All staff are well-supported to ensure they can work in an environment that is conductive to achieving the best outcomes for families and children.

Your new role
You will have the chance to work primarily from home, but will be expected to travel to the office for meetings and travel to court hearings within the North Wales area. It is a full-time position, for £38 per hour (umbrella). Providing advanced social work and completing safeguarding enquiry reports will be a part of your regular workload, and you will be conducting enquiries in accordance with relevant legislation.

What you'll need to succeed
- Social Work Degree (or equivalent)
- Registered with Social Care Wales
- Full Uk driving licence
- Children's Social Work experience
