Premier Work Support are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Factory Team Leader.

The role will require you to lead the afternoon team on shift to produce orders as required on time and in full, whilst adhering to quality and safety standards during the Production process. We are looking for an immediate start and there may be an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate!

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for assigned team members on the afternoon shift.
  • Manufacture products as required to the high quality expected.
  • Efficient and safe production of food to the agreed customer specifications.
  • Supporting the launch of all new products.
  • Product quality & safety made on shift.
  • Staff training for safe & correct operation of machinery.
  • Keeping accurate records.
  • Onboarding of any new team members.
  • Ensure the compliance of all Health and Safety rules and regulations on site.
  • Diligent completion of the SAP business system.

Essential Skills:

  • HACCP and Food Safety Management trained (Essential).
  • Capable of performing all tasks in a factory to a suitable standard.
  • Counterbalance FLT Licence (Desirable).
  • Highly effective people and team leader who can also work well with others.
  • Knowledge of fresh produce quality standards.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
