Are you currently on the lookout for a new role in a business that provides you with a great platform for success? Do you have experience of working within senior roles across production /manufacturing environments?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimise efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, promoting a culture of workplace safety.
  • Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as planning, procurement and SHEQ to streamline operations and achieve production goals.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, collaborating to produce a better finished product and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare reports on production performance, including key metrics such as budget, output, quality, and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements, recommending innovations to enhance production processes.


Essential:

  • Ability to 'get things done' in an efficient and timely manner
  • Clear and effective communication skills to convey instructions, provide feedback, and collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and production targets.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety standards.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify production bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of workplace safety, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures, and implementing measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Diligence in monitoring production processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing management, seeking opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.
