Due to exceptional growth, T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join our Client on a temporary to permanent basis in Swadlincote.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team on a long-term basis with plenty of overtime on offer.

Factory Operative Job Details;

  • £12.50 - £15ph dependant on experience
  • Plenty of overtime opportunities available paid at premium rates
  • Monday to Thursday 7am-5pm & Friday 7am-4pm
  • Saturday overtime 6am-2pm
  • Company pension scheme
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Temporary to Permanent
  • Free parking

Factory Operative Role & Responsibilities include;

  • Threading products into a machine
  • Quality Checking goods
  • Loading and unloading material
  • Changing components
  • General housekeeping
  • Working within a team
  • Maintaining Health & Safety
  • All other associated tasks as required

Due to the nature of the work, the environment is dusty, dirty, and loud. The applicant should be able to work within a physically demanding setting and be happy to complete repetitive duties.

Factory Operative Person Specification;

  • Previous factory / machine experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Happy to complete repetitive duties
  • A good team player
  • Able to follow instructions with good communication skills
