Factory operative

A&G Resourcing Ltd has an exciting opportunity for two candidates to join our well know client based in Reading outskirts.

This role is critical to the production of the high-quality packaging products used within different industries.

One candidate will join the plywood packaging section and one will work with in a factory on variety of different packaging.

Temp-Perm

Monday - Thursday 08:00am-16:30pm

Friday 08:00am -15:30pm

£12.00 (with salary increase after 3months probation period once permanent)

DUE TO LOCATION OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL

Main Duties will involve:

• Oversee and maintain all stock inventories for factory daily.
• Follow daily manufacturing work orders giving special attention to various materials.
• Maintain and ensure all machines are functioning according to established work standards.
• Assist with package procedures as requested.
• Report any concerns or discrepancies to management.
• Maintain tools, and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
• Comply with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
• Receiving incoming materials.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Keeping working are nice and tidy

Skills / experience required:

• Manufacturing experience
• Good attention to details
• Machine setting experience
• DIY skills

Full training will be given as the machines are bespoke to the client, so an openness to learn, develop and evolve is essential, as is the ability to work as a team.
