Factory Machine Assistant Permanent

Our client is seeking a Factory Machine Assistant for our their bus factory in Sittingbourne. This position comes with a salary of £23,816 per annum and 40hrs per week with the opportunity for overtime. Shifts are split in two and rotate on a three week basis, with two 6am to 2pm shifts, and one 2pm till 10pm.

The primary duty of the Factory Machine Assistant is to assist with the preparation and packing of goods for the conversion machines (rewinder, sheeter, coiler) and log live production results on PC. Applicants should have basic computer literacy, as training will be given on our bespoke system. Additionally, having a Fork truck counterbalance licence is preferred though not essential, as our client is able to provide training and a licence.
