Facilities Manager based in Central London working at large commercial buildings.

Client Details

Private property investment and development company, Family owned and run company, worth 3.5 billion pounds, has large portfolio of commercial buildings in central London.

Description

  • Overall responsibility for day-to-day management of a diverse range of properties, which include offices, industrial and some residential
  • Carry out regular property inspections and pro-actively address arising issues
  • Health and Safety management and ensuring statutory obligations are met
  • Allocate maintenance jobs and liaise with contractors and consultants
  • Engage with tenants on occupational issues
  • Oversight, management and monitoring of external contractors and advisers including arranging appointments as required
  • Work closely with Asset Management and Finance to optimise performance
  • Producing and managing annual service charge budgets
  • Ensure Property Management System is kept up to date and accurate
  • Management of utility contracts for vacant space and common areas

Profile

5 years Facilities or Property Management experience in a busy environment

A strong working knowledge of property management issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, and company stakeholders

Ability to handle multiple properties and prioritise tasks effectively

Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
