Facilities Manager Generalist

Job title: Seasoned FM Generalist

Location: London Tower Place (hybrid role 3 days in the office)

Length of assignment: 6 months

Working days/hours: 35 hours

Pay rate: £500 per day

Must Have's

• Min +5 yrs experience ideally in the private sector in FM Outsourcing
• preferably globally and good all-round knowledge and experience in Facilities Management
• Office Services and design & construction would be a bonus.

• This position is for a seasoned professional individual contributor in Global Sourcing, who works independently with minimal supervision. This position handles complex negotiations, selects suppliers, and initiates contract administration to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
• Competent with handling complex negotiations for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies to minimize the cost of purchases and to ensuring compliance and ethics are maintained and business goals are met.
• Solid experience of Facilities Management outsourcing, preferably global.
• Experience in Managed Print Services (MPS) & Multi Functional Devices (MFD's)
• Evaluates and selects suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
• Initiates contract administration with suppliers and vendors to ensure accordance with sourcing goals.
• Reviews analysis on price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to help determine reasonable prices.
• Implements long-term supply chain strategies and develops networks to address capacity issues, etc.
• Works directly with the suppliers to assure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Developing materials in support of executive and other stakeholder communications
• Proficient in supplier performance management and supply risk management.
