About the Role


Our client, a leading Defence & Security company, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's facilities. This is a permanent position, offering a great opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in Facilities Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair the facilities infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations or urgent maintenance requests
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects and tasks
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Assist with planning and implementing facility improvement projects
Job Requirements
  • Significant experience in Facilities Management
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
