My Reading based Client is urgently recruiting for a Facilities / Maintenance / Site Manager for a specific project managing a number of Industrial Warehouses.

The Client is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities / Maintenance / Site Manager to oversee their operations in Reading and across the South East, UK. As a Facilities / Maintenance / Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of their industrial warehouse facility, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.

Develop and implement comprehensive facility management plans and procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity.

Coordinate with third-party service providers and vendors to procure necessary services and materials, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms.

Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and address maintenance issues promptly.

Oversee health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business operations and facilitate smooth workflows within the facility.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility management activities, including budgets, expenditures, and maintenance logs.

Requirements:

Proven experience in facility management, preferably within an industrial warehouse environment.

Strong knowledge of site management principles and best practices, with the ability to implement effective strategies to optimise facility operations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for transportation to and from the facility.

Flexibility to respond to emergencies and address issues outside of regular business hours, as needed.
