Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Facilities Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

As the Facilities Engineer you will support site engineering teams in monitoring Utility utilisation to identify potential savings and advise on the efficient use of site utilities services. Also to esnure that they comply with legislative and Company ethical standards in terms of safety, food hygiene and staff management.

  • Assist contractor with boiler servicing, air compressors servicing, chilled water plants maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Organise and carry out testing of all water supplies, legionella, effluent and cooling towers when the wastewater technician is on annual leave or off site
  • Carry out PPM and corrective actions for utilities equipment.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Multi-skilled engineer
  • Excellent fault finding and route cause analysis skills.
  • Experience of working in a FMCG environment.
  • Excellent understanding of Utilities Systems and Effluent Systems
  • Some supervisory experience would be beneficial.

What you will receive in return:

  • £46,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday - days
  • Company pension
