An international finance firm with an office of 25 people in the City of London is looking to recruit a facilities coordinator. This role will work closely with the Head Office and is the main support for health and safety, and facilities issues. You would also be the person liaising between IT support in Head Office and the UK team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a busy Facilities role where you need to be approachable and forthcoming whilst being able to be a calming influence on the wider team. Typical duties include:
  • Liaise with Head Office to coordinate projects for both Facilities and Health and Safety.
  • Manage the contracts for maintenance, facilities and premises and negotiate renewals to maximise cost-saving initiatives.
  • Take ownership of the health and safety in the office.
  • Work with the Business Continuity Manager in the Head Office to implement and update the BCP for the London office.
  • Build a relationship with the landlord
  • Manage the contracts for phones
  • Manage the IT procurement and maintain the asset management for the resource
WHO YOU ARE

To be successful, you will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar Facilities or Office management role. You will have great communication skills and be able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders with ease.

Essential requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in Facilities, or Office Management
  • Have worked within a corporate/professional services environment previously.
  • Be a great communicator
  • Be a positive influence in the office
  • Efficient problem solver
  • Willing to get involved with smaller tasks as well as larger projects.
