Our client, a leading Facilities Management organisation are currently on the search for a Facilities Compliance Officer for their office in Plymouth to be responsible for updating engineering documentation, ensuring that statutory compliance is maintained in line with the requirements of the contracts.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced facilities administrator and will work alongside the helpdesk team assisting with scheduled and reactive engineering work orders ensuring response and completion are within required time frames.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Have a compressive technical understanding of statutory compliance in commercial properties.
  • Ensure that the annual PPM Plan is delivered to the required asset inspection and maintenance date.
  • Ensure that PPM service sheets and certification are received as quickly as possible following the service due date and are completed to an acceptable standard.
  • Ensure that PPM documentation received is checked, date stamped and signed to identify any issues which give rise to the need for Remedial Works Arising.
  • Obtain pricing for Remedial Works Arising and obtain cost approval from client.
  • Manage and scheduling of PPM Remedial Works arising to ensure that they are prioritised based on risk and urgency and that all works are completed and closed in CAFM system in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Contract Manager in the monitoring of engineer and contractor performance.
  • Provide management information and positively participate in and contribute to internal performance review meetings.
  • Manage WIP & avoid financial penalties.

 Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of managing facilities management admin activities within an office role.
  • Qualification in building services or technical trade would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of commercial property statutory compliance.
  • Excellent customer service abilities and strong communication skill.
  • Be very organised, an eye for detail and be able to work to deadlines.

Role Details:

  • Working hours - Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 5pm, with finishing 30mins early on a Friday.
  • Location - Plymouth, PL6
  • Salary - £24,000
  • 21-25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
