Facilities Assistant
  • Job Type: Temporary on-going
  • Location: Windmill Park, SN5
  • Hours: 7.45am – 4pm
  • Salary: £12 per hour

We are seeking a proactive and physically fit Facilities Assistant to join our team on a temporary ongoing basis. The role involves ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, managing post, setting up meeting rooms, and performing various administrative tasks. This position requires someone who can handle physical tasks, including moving and lifting items as needed.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Efficiently process incoming and outgoing post, ensuring accurate sorting and timely distribution to the correct recipients.
  • Prepare meeting rooms for various setups and make changes as required for different functions and events.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the office, maintaining a tidy and organised environment.
  • Carry out a range of administrative tasks to support office operations.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving and lifting items within the office environment as part of facilities management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff and manage post distribution.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing day-to-day office needs.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
