JOB TITLE: Facilities assistant / Handy Person
LOCATION: Warwick
LENGTH: Immediate start, Ongoing
PAY RATE: £11.96 an hour
HOURS: Part time - Tuesday to Thursday 8:30am until 5pm – 30 min lunch

Our client is currently looking for a facilities assistant / handy person to help on their site in Warwick. You will assist in various tasks related to facility management, ensuring a conducive and efficient working environment for employees and visitors. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Removal of wet floor signs in the mornings
  • Collection and disposal of confidential waste across all sites
  • Emptying of recycling bins (plastic and glass)
  • WEEE waste monitoring and disposal
  • Hazardous waste control and liaising with third party for the collection of
  • Proactive daily maintenance (e.g. sanitary problems, water leaks, etc)
  • Daily use of the company van – going between sites in Warwick
  • Painting
  • Cleaning
  • Spills
  • Snagging
  • Taking/collection of company property as required
  • Purchase and collection of small consumable items e.g. fittings, brushes, paint, light bulbs
  • Collect water bottles and other consumables stored and distribute to sites as necessary
  • Reactive – to adhoc tasks
  • Liaise with external contractors as required
  • Desk moves

Requirements:
  • A valid UK driving license – must be over 21 and have no more than 6 points on your license due to insurance
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour as needed.
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and tools
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
