Our client is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to drive operational efficiency and support restaurant growth by implementing a robust facilities and maintenance program.

This role requires adept management of third-party suppliers, strict adherence to KPI's, and collaboration with restaurant operations and property teams to ensure compliance, efficient construction projects, and seamless new restaurant turnovers.

Client Details

The client is a fast growing Restaurant company looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee UK and European stores.

Description

  • Collaborate with restaurant operations to effectively manage the Maintenance and Repair (M&R) budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with M&R suppliers, enforcing KPIs to uphold company standards.
  • Oversee maintenance compliance in relevant markets, ensuring equipment adherence to schedules and local legislation.
  • Project manage construction for new sites, ensuring compliance with company standards and timely turnovers to operations.
  • Identify issues impacting M&R costs, communicating them to the Operations Director and Property Team.
  • Collaborate with the European training team to provide relevant facility-related training tools to restaurant operators.
  • Conduct inspections and repairs, formulate preventative maintenance schedules, and manage budgets accurately.
  • Supervise external design and layouts for new restaurants, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
  • Monitor on-site construction for both new and existing restaurants, validating work quality.
  • Collaborate with the Property and Development team on site inspections for potential new sites or existing restaurants.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong operational and relationship management skills, with a proven track record in facilities and maintenance. Effective budget management, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate diverse projects are essential. Experience in the restaurant industry is advantageous.
