A well-known law firm based in the City of London is seeking a Facilities Assistant on a 6 month contract to join their growing and dynamic team.

Paying up to £26,500, this role is a great opportunity for someone who interested in pursuing a career in the area of facilities, but may only have limited office based worked experience. Please do apply if you are genuinely interested in pursuing a career in this area even if you are entry level.

The Facilities Assistant will join a large team and will be involved in day to day running and operations of a busy office in central London.

The duties will include the following:

  • Delivering and sending internal and external post, including franking and FX
  • Replenishing stock (stationery, paper, envelopes, etc.) within the office
  • Helping with office moves and relocations
  • Working closely with the archive, reprographics and reception team
  • Setting up workstations for new starters to the firm
  • Answering telephone calls and being the first point of contact for the department
  • Monitoring the facilities email inbox
  • Moving boxes and files from department to department
  • Providing back-up support for post scanning
  • Other tasks that arise within the facilities department

The ideal candidate will have some office support experience and have a genuine interesting in pursuing a career withing facilities management. Limited experience is welcome, its more about attitude, willingness to learn as well just getting stuck in!
