Fabricator / Welder

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of Severfield to recruit a number of Fabricator / Welders for their factory in Sherburn, Malton.

They are also growing fast, and right now they are looking for experienced Welders and Fabricators to join them in permanent roles as part of their Products and Processing division, based in Sherburn, Malton.

They continually invest in new products, processes and manufacturing methods which means Malton is an exciting place to be.

You will get to work on their latest products such as their Severstor equipment, housing modules and their patented Rotoflo silo discharge unit. And your challenge will be to help them create even more of the iconic structures they are known for.

You will spend your time reading complex engineering drawings and plating within their fabrication line - all to the highest quality standards within tight production deadlines.

The pay rate:                £15.35 p/h Days
With their annual average earnings up to £34,000

The shift pattern:             Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm

The role:

• Fabrication and welding of heavy steel structures
• Following strict health and safety guidelines
• Working from engineering drawings
• Completing jobs in full and on time

The successful candidate:

• Experienced in fabrication and welding in a similar environment is important.
• You will also ideally have either an L3 NVQ Fabricating and Welding qualification, a City and Guilds L3 in Fabricating, or an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Fabricating and Welding.
• Experience of working with modular buildings and large structural frames would be useful, too.
• You will know how important safety is, and you must have the right to work in the UK.
