The Role:
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding, assembling, and fabricating various metal components. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with power and hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks according to specifications
- You will have a basic understanding of drawings
- Measure and cut materials to the required dimensions
- Assemble parts using various welding techniques, such as Stick welding
- Operate power tools and hand tools to shape, grind, and finish metal components
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Skills:
- Welding to a non coded standard
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
- Attention to detail for precise assembly and finishing work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
