Position: Static Fabric Technician/ Maintenance Engineer

Location: Central Birmingham

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £26,000 to £30,000 subject to experience level

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Fabric Technician/ Building Maintenance Person for a full time permanent position in the centre of Birmingham.

This position will be working for one main client, dealing with general building maintenance which will include basic carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, patch plastering, water flushing, temp checks etc.

The right person for this position will already have a back ground in general building services maintenance. It would be an advantage if they have a carpentry or plumbing qualification, but it is not essential.

This position is in the centre of Birmingham and does not come with a company vehicle.

Requirements

  • Experience in general building services maintenance.
  • Able to deal with basic, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plastering etc
  • Able to complete water testing and flushing
  • Must be able to make their own way into Central Birmingham
  • Happy to do a Monday to Friday position (limited overtime)
  • Level 2 carpentry or plumbing qualification would be an advantage but not essential.

Package

  • Basic salary based on a 42 hourweek
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Can have an immediate start
  • Pension
  • Annual bonus and pay review
