Our client a recently refurbished luxury Hotel, in Whitby, is seeking an F&B Manager. The hotel stands out as a luxury accommodations leader and looks to be at the forefront of award-winning dining. The client is offering a salary between £40,000 to £45,000 plus tronc and a performance bonus depending on experience with a range of additional benefits!

What Does the Role Entail?

Your role as the F&B Manager will be to lead the restaurant team creating a welcoming environment for all. You will be working alongside the rest of the hotel teams, covering staff recruitment, and training, ordering, and invoicing, and to foster up and coming talent. You will oversee all aspects of the hotel, providing a positive work atmosphere and being the voice of customers for the site. You will also be working on group bookings and small events ensuring consistent communication among the team and balancing operational, administrative and colleague needs. Finally, you will ensure the company acquires, retains, and trains new members to have an optimal happy workforce.

What skills will you have?

Ideally, you will have prior experience in a similar role as a F&B Manager within the luxury hotel sector, to give you an understanding of the industry's specific demands. While appreciating tradition, you should exhibit a forward-thinking mindset and adaptability to the demands of a high-volume operation. Your proven expertise in Restaurant practices, including organisational skills, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skill-set, will be key to your success. A creative and innovative mindset, with exceptional communication skills, are qualities the client values in the ideal candidate.
