Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant, with experience working with early years foundation stage?

Do you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification or working towards this?

Are you a dedicated and creative individual looking to make a positive contribution to young learners?

If so, Randstad Education, is currently looking for Teaching Assistants with experience in early years foundation stage for various schools across the Blackpool area with either an immediate start

Excellent pay rates on offer ranging from £13 - £14 per hour depending on experience.

The role of a Teaching Assistant specialising in Early Years Foundation Stage plays a vital role in nurturing the development of young minds and helping them thrive during their formative years. A strong understanding of the early years foundation stage framework and previous experience within an Early Years Foundation Stage environment is essential.

What these roles will involve

  • Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the EYFS framework
  • Providing 1:1 support to children who may require additional assistance
  • Assisting with the development of individual learning plans and tracking progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom
  • Collaboration with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's needs are met
  • Creativity is at the heart of every EYFS classroom so your ability to infuse creativity into the learning process is essential



Essential Requirements

  • Relevant Qualification or working towards this.
  • Knowledge of development matters
  • Ability to engage with pupils to have fun while learning
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to work collaboratively and competently within a team.
  • An understanding of SEN or learning needs
  • Previous classroom experience
