EYFS Teaching Assistant

Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm

Working with a good Hornchurch School to recruit an experienced EYFS professional LSA; to cover a maternity leave.

To start as soon as possible

Term Time only 27.5hrs per week (with additional holiday pay)

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant we are looking for someone to:

• Have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Sensitivity and understanding working with reception aged children
• Patience and the ability to work with EYFS children in a positive learning environment
• The ability to work in a team
• To understand that each learner is different and adapt the learning as appropriate
• To undertake an element of personal care where required
• Active listening skills
• Have an EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
• Have a knowledge of previously working in a class based setting.

For the successful candidate there will be some training and development offered.
