We're seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Trafford. As an essential member of our Early Years team, you'll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support and guidance to our little learners during this crucial stage of their development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the EYFS teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the individual needs of each child.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement creative activities that promote holistic development across all areas of learning.
  • Support children in developing essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and problem-solving through play-based learning.
  • Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to the teacher to ensure continuous improvement and personalised support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A patient and nurturing approach, coupled with the ability to adapt to the individual needs and learning styles of each child.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in childcare, education, or a related field would be advantageous but not essential.
