EYFS Teacher

Are you a qualified primary school teacher looking for your next role in a school?

Empowering Learning are working alongside a school based in the Burton on Trent area who are looking to appoint an EYFS teacher to work on a full time and long term basis. There is a possibility this job could become permanent for the right person

The main duties within the role will be:

• Teaching an EYFS class on a full time basis
• Planning and marking the children's work
• Teaching phonics using Jolly Phonics each day
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of different abilities
• Liaising with the school SENCO around progress of SEN children
• Delegating a class TA to work with targeted children

The school are looking for someone who:

• Has at least one years' teaching experience
• Is able to deliver high quality and energetic lessons
• Can maintain a good level of classroom control
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Can be a reliable member of the school staffing team
• Has a good attendance and punctuality record
• Has a good sense of humour! (It helps!)
