We are seeking an experienced EYFS Teacher to join a lovely community primary school in central Grimsby. The position is set to start after the Easter holidays and will continue until at least the summer. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a passion for early years education and a desire to work within a strong, supportive leadership team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Full class responsibilities including planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that engage and inspire young learners.
  • Work collaboratively with an experienced team, another EYFS teacher, and several early years practitioners and teaching assistants.
  • Contribute to the nurturing environment that supports children’s early development.
  • Engage with the school community and participate in school events.
  • Uphold the school’s values and contribute to its mission to provide outstanding education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Over 2 years of experience in an EYFS setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Unfortunately, ECTs (Early Career Teachers) will not be considered for this role.
