EYFS Teacher in Telford

This School is a large one-form entry Primary School with an Early Years Foundation Stage Provision with a Reception Class and a Pre-School. The pupils enjoy attending this school, creating a happy and friendly environment. The pupils behave well throughout the school and the staff are committed to doing their best for the children's development and the progress of the school as a whole. The leadership team within this school is strong and the team are working together to always think of ways to improve the school.

About the Role:

In this role you will use your knowledge and experience of Teaching within the Early Years to fulfil an Early Years Teaching Role within the Pre-School. This role has full class responsibility to you will be responsible for planning and preparing lessons, marking and compulsory extra-curricular tasks such as parent's evenings and school events. You will need to plan and implement age-appropriate content following the Early Years Foundation Stage and any approaches identified by the school. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Planning, preparing and implementing engaging lessons in-line with the National Curriculum.
• Using appropriate assessment tools to assess progress and inform teaching.
• Maintaining accurate records of assessment.
• Demonstrating strong subject knowledge.
• Taking responsibility for personal professional development.
• Participating in extra-curricular commitments such as parent's evening.

This is a full-time role 8:15am to 3:45pm, Monday to Friday.
