Export Seafreight Operator

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Export Seafreight person for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Egham, Surrey area.

Job Description:-

The position would be a complete start to finish role, to include but not limited to: Arranging LCL and FCL export shipments to worldwide destinations.

Arranging collections with our selected Transport Companies.

Liaising with clients and other departments, hauliers, etc.

Providing excellent customer service skills to our export customers.

Handling order traces, issuing Bills of Lading, invoices, sending pre-alerts to overseas offices.

Knowledge of physical loading of containers would be beneficial.

Good negotiating skills.

An in-depth customs knowledge and the ability to complete export Customs entries via Sequoia.

Experience at communicating with Shipping Lines, Co-Loaders and Transport Companies.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730
