Export Coordinator

Are you an experienced Export Coordinator who has strong container and transport planning skills?

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a hugely successful, internationally renowned manufacturing company, located in Stafford. We are currently supporting their recruitment for an Export Coordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent contract.

This position is working Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 17:00pm with a Friday finish of 15:45pm offering a highly competitive salary of £30,000 plus additional company benefits such as onsite parking, new updated eating facilities, pension contribution and life insurance.

Hybrid working will be considered where possible.

Our client is part of a global group that can boast machine distributions and delivery in over 30 countries worldwide and are now looking to develop both global and domestic markets to reach the next level in their continual success.

Export Coordinator main duties:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with production, stores and transport companies to ensure that all the needs of international customers are met.
• Using our SAP system to process orders received from international customers.
• Answering all emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
• Ensure a smooth service for our customers.
• Container and transport planning.
• Production of all customs documentation to ensure smooth transport.

Export Coordinator required skills and experience:

• The ideal candidate for this role will be looking to develop their skills and to grow with the company.
• Container and transport planning knowledge
• You will be able to work using own initiative and enjoy setting and controlling their own workload.
• Strong IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail, organised and methodical
• Able to solve problems
• Customer Focused
• Knowledge of customs documentation/processes
• Previous knowledge of SAP (strongly advantageous)
