Do you have Export and Customer Service experience?

My client is seeking an Export & Customer Service Specialist to join their global Pharmaceutical Distribution Operations team.

This role is crucial for processing customer orders and ensuring timely delivery with compliant Export documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export management and a customer-oriented approach.

THE ROLE

  • Receive and confirm customer orders. 
  • Ensure timely preparation of shipments.
  • Raise all required documentation, including legalisation as needed.
  • Arrange shipment of goods through qualified forwarders
  • Assess letters of credit, gaining clearance from Finance.
  • Be first point of contact for overseas and domestic customers. 
  • Solve unforeseen issues efficiently. 
  • Track order status and execute UK customer orders promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of orders and shipment documentation.
  • Update and provide data for monthly KPI monitoring.
  • Raise Customer Complaints/GDP Incidents 

KEY SKILLS 

  • Export management experience 
  • Experience with exports outside the EU.
  • Strong customer orientation and a ‘be of service’ attitude.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-organised 
  • Strong PC skills (CRM, ERP, Excel)
