Exciting opportunity to join a progressive school for children and young adults with SEN!

This Surrey-based School is looking for an experienced Class Teacher to join a fun and supportive team at a purpose built school. This is a school for children aged 2-19 with a range of needs, including Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Personal Qualities

  • Passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential
  • Experience of leading successful teaching activities
  • Experience of working collaboratively with parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of current good practice in good teaching
  • Successful experience of differentiating lessons to enable pupils to access the curriculum
  • Ability to remain calm and consistent when working with students demonstrating challenging behaviour
  • Able to build confidence and motivation
  • Able to learn quickly and communicate effectively
  • Able to build robust and effective relationships with students
  • Able to remain calm and resilient when placed in situations of stress or conflict
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Caring, compassionate, and a good listener
  • Promote the school's vision, values and aims

**ASAP start / September start

**Full-time

** Salary: MPS (up to M6) + Additional SEN Allowance + Fringe, £140-£200 per day

**Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided

**You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
