The Role

As an experienced Recruitment Consultant at Teaching Personnel, you will bring schools and teachers together effectively, towards a better education experience for pupils. You will join a large thriving team in the Manchester office, covering a specialist sector and will be responsible for building your educator pool and school-base across a local area - we will be right there, supporting and cheering you on! You will arrive with a freshness and enthusiasm to work hard in order to drive your own development and career. You will be expected to reflect and take on board constructive feedback from your line manager and others in the team. Our end of the bargain is to ensure you are given the skills to do a good job, and a big part of this is the database you will inherit. On arrival you will have access to a large 'live' national educator database as well as existing relationships with 'warmer' client schools. Should you choose to accept the role, you will be expected to:

  • Build strong working relationships with your client schools by supporting them with a variety of good quality, fully compliant teachers and support staff.
  • Proactively build and develop your own educator database and match them to the right roles (permanent or temporary).
  • Maintain that all-important personal touch through regular face-to-face client visits, high impact sales conversations and ongoing engagement with key decision makers
  • Meet and exceed agreed targets and objectives working in line with the Region's high standards for performance and activity.
