Salary: Up to £11.50 per hour + benefits dependent on skills and experience

YO26, near Wetherby, North Yorkshire - Applicants must have their own transport or reside locally

Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

We are looking to recruit an experienced Forklift Driver & Yard Operative to join our growing team at our head office and warehouse location near Wetherby, in North Yorkshire. We import natural stone and porcelain tiles and other products from around the world and we have five retail showrooms across the UK.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Operating forklift trucks with precision to ensure the safe handling of goods
• Conducting yard operations including loading and unloading of materials
• Stacking and packing heavy goods
• Using a cutting machine to cut stone & porcelain
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse yard
• Assisting with quality checks on incoming deliveries
• Supporting team members with various tasks as needed

Essential Requirements:

• Recent forklift driving and warehouse experience
• Strong numeracy skills
• Valid forklift truck license - advantageous
• Full UK driving license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
