Exhibition Sales Manager
 
An exciting opportunity for a hungry sales professional has arisen to join a dynamic, fast thinking global events company. The key focus of this position is to sell exhibition space, advertising and sponsorship within a brand.
As well as approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business, you will strive to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible.
 
Key responsibilities include:

  • Telephone calls to pitch the event to prospects
  • Well written and concise emails
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Lead Generation
  • Client Management and Customer Service
  • Understand the needs of your business customers
  • Research the market and related products
  • Gather market and customer information
  • Fully immerse yourself into the silicone industry
  • Managing the pipeline
  • Visiting relevant events globally
  • Event management when necessary
  • Liaise with the marketing team when required
 The ideal candidate will have:
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in using Salesforce or other CRM Systems
  • Confident ability on the phone
  • A tenacious approach to winning new business
  • Comfortable face to face with prospects
  • Valid Passport
  • A desire to be part of a high performing team
  • Have a ‘let’s get this done’ attitude
  • Be innovative and forward thinking
