Arden Matheson are a Learning and Development Consultancy creating and delivering learning solutions for a wide range of Clients. We work with large corporate businesses through to SMEs across Yorkshire and the UK. Our offerings include Management and Leadership development, Business Development and Recruitment development, Graduate programmes, business skills and individual development.
Our training and development solutions are bespoke to every Client and we work with each Client to create the best structure, content, and approach.

The Role:
We are excited to be expanding our team and we are looking for an EA to the Managing Director to join us.

Our EA will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office, handling administrative duties as outlined below, and providing scheduling and workload management for the MD.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not restricted to:

  • Supporting L&D project administration work with team members
  • Use of MS excel to update and monitor training trackers with our Clients
  • Formatting powerpoint slide decks and learning resources on MS word created by the L&D team
  • Managing the business email inbox
  • Liaising with our IT support team with any technological challenges and issues
  • Meeting room booking for the Innovation Centre
  • Monitoring and maintaining office stationery supplies
  • Meeting and greeting delegates on arrival of training sessions at the office
  • Booking travel and accommodation for the team
  • Managing the MDs diary, coordinating with Clients for Client meetings and training sessions
  • Supporting the MD with business projects
  • Supporting the finance administration with the MD

The successful candidate will be agile and flexible in their approach to workload and projects, and will have a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. They will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication, and enjoy working as part of a positive and supportive team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Highly organised, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability

  • Ability to work effectively as a team

    Desirable skills
  • Proficiency in using linkedin and other social media
  • Experience of project management
