Executive Assistant - Commercial Litigation

Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

My client, a highly-regarded law firm, is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to join their friendly and supportive Commercial Litigation team in the Manchester office. Within the role you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking file opening and related procedures in accordance with the Quality Manual.
  • Undertaking Anti-Money Laundering and ID checks in accordance with firm policy.
  • Helping with good document management and matter and client records.
  • Preparing document bundles using bundle software
  • Filing documents with court using CE-Filing.
  • Taking responsibility for ensuring all court dates and deadlines are diarised.
  • Where appropriate, liaising with clients.
  • Carrying out photocopying and scanning and various online filing duties.
  • Organise with team holiday charts.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post for the team.
  • Handling, amending and being responsible for legal documents - attention to detail is essential.
  • Assisting other fee earners with administrative tasks as required.
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, as well as case management system.
