JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant
LOCATION: Chatham
SALARY: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour

START: ASAP

TERM: Temporary for approx. 3 months
HOURS: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

We are looking to recruit an ExecutiveAssistant, who would provide support to the Chairman and Chief Executive. The Executive Assistant is a vital role in this busy office environment, with a high degree of flexibility required to provide an efficient range of cover.


The day to day duties in your new job would be:

  • To provide support to the Chairman and Chief Executive.
  • Provide close and effective liaison with Trustees, including scheduling meetings, and preparation for Trustees' meeting including the preparation and issuing of Board papers.
  • To manage the Chairman's and Chief Executive's diaries including itineraries and travelling arrangements.
  • To manage and co-ordinate VIP visits and other Trust events including management of guest lists, itineraries, hospitality and other arrangements as required.
  • To participate actively in the management of other Trust events as required.
  • To provide direct administrative support to the Chairman, and Chief Executive including drafting and preparation of correspondence, minute taking, presentation preparation, desk research, filing, etc.
  • Assist with HR-related tasks such as coordinating interviews, on boarding new employees, and managing employee records.
  • To receive, sort and prioritise mail, and emails, redirecting as appropriate and responding to all routine correspondence.

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role, preferably supporting senior management
  • Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to convey information clearly and accurately both orally and in writing
  • Systematic and thorough working approach with the ability to work independently
  • Immediately availability and happy to commit to a temporary position
