As schools gear up for the busy months of May and June, your support is invaluable in ensuring the smooth running of examinations.

Position: Exam Invigilator
Location: Grimsby
Hourly Rate: £13 per hour
Shifts: Morning (08:30 to 12:30), Afternoon (12:30 to 15:30), All day

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup of examination rooms to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
• Distribute examination papers and answer sheets to candidates as required.
• Attend to any needs or concerns that candidates may have during examinations.
• Collect answer scripts in candidate number order and supervise them until they are delivered securely.
• Enforce examination room regulations outlined in guidelines.
• Maintain strict security and confidentiality throughout the examination process.
• Record attendance accurately on official examination registers.
• Ensure compliance with rules regarding prohibited items in examination halls.
• Inform candidates of pre-exam start information and any relevant notices.
• Maintain a quiet and orderly environment once examinations begin.
• Ensure all candidates are seated before distributing question papers.
• Refrain from providing assistance to candidates with the examination content.
• Sign the centre's confidentiality declaration.
• Assist with other duties as requested by the examination centre.

Requirements:

• DBS on the update service (preferred).
• Reliable and punctual.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
