Charterhouse seeks to appoint, for September 2024, an inspirational and passionate Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) Coordinator on a fixed-term basis for two academic years (until early July 2026). There may be an opportunity to extend this beyond the two years for the right candidate.

The Educational Support Department at Charterhouse exists to help pupils develop their learning skills so that they can fully access the School’s curriculum and achieve outstanding examination performance.

This post is a superb opportunity for an experienced Level 7 Assessor to join one of the country’s finest schools. The successful candidate will be able to support the pupils with EAA. The appointee will have the ability and knowledge to assess, review and complete the process of EAA for the GCSEs, A Levels and IB.

An Exam Access Arrangement Coordinator will be the custodial of the application process for any Exam Access Arrangements. They will, under the guidance of the Head of Educational Support (SENDCo), screen, assess and review pupils who may require EAA. If any EAA needs are identified they will prepare an EAA application and send it to the relevant Exam Boards. They will keep a close eye on all applications, monitor their progress and communicate effectively with the Exam Office at Charterhouse.

The salary for this part time term time role is £11,000 per annum for working 15 hours per week, 32 weeks of the year, other benefits include a contributory pension scheme, cash health plan, death in service benefit, and membership of the School’s Sports Club.
