You will be working on a cutting-edge contract, and the big aim is to stop re-offending. Together with their supply chain partners, you will provide specialist support to ensure that people do not re-offend by ensuring that they have a stable progressive release, with support around housing, family re-integration, drug and alcohol support (delivered by partner providers) and employment support (delivered by yourself).
You will work with a caseload of 50, which will consist of low-high level risk ex-offenders i.e. sex offenders – so you need to be confident, and adaptable to challenging situations based in Bicester and HMP Woodhill. You would be based 3-4 days in Bicester probation and 1-2 days in HMP Woodhill (category B prison).
There are a range of targets to work to – such as job starts, specialist support, soft skills, enrolments or general support measures, so you need to be goal and target motivated with the ability to work independently.
People who might find this role of interest may have worked within the Employment Services sector as an Employment Advisor, Employment Consultant, Job Coach, or an Employer Engagement staff looking for a slight change. You may also have worked as a Probation Officer, Support Worker, Case Manager, or Resettlement Officer. Criminology/Criminal Studies Grads with relevant experience will also be considered.
Please apply via this advert. Everyone gets a response. If you would like to find out more about this role, feel free to call the office and ask for David (number on the Red 5 People website).
