My client, a prestigious and well-known trade association / membership organisation seeks a Programme Manager.

The main programme which will take all of your focus is key to developing graduate members of the organisation who are fairly early in their career and will require someone who is used to dealing with stakeholders, industry professionals, representing the organisation externally and enjoys project management with plenty of experience managing events.

The programme is something that will be developed massively in the future, so there is plenty of potential for rewarding work and scope for development over time.

As the Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations, and the platform for emerging leaders within the sector. You will work closely with a well engaged Advisory Board to strategize and execute a comprehensive program of events and engagement aimed at enriching the experiences of members, fostering industry connections, and amplifying the voice of the organisation as a whole.

Main duties will include;

Management of Programme Operations:

Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to organisational objectives.

Act as the secretariat for the Board, organising meetings, setting agendas, inviting speakers, and managing administrative tasks.

Maintain regular communication with the Chair to ensure alignment with annual strategic objectives.

Events Management:

Develop and manage a strategic calendar of events, both online and face-to-face, including seminars, networking sessions, roundtable discussions, and site visits.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure guest speakers and venues for events.

Ensure strong representation and engagement of BPF Futures at core industry events and conferences.

Liaise with Events Assistants and Coordinators to help execute these

Communications:

Manage all communications for the network, including newsletters, website content, and email inquiries.

Maintain and update the webpage and ensure accuracy of member information in the CRM system.

Utilize social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, to promote awareness and engagement with the Programme network.

Establish and nurture relationships with external organisations, related entities, and political stakeholders to advocate for the organisations sector.

Represent the organisation at Committees, working groups, and industry events, championing the network's initiatives and objectives.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in programme management, event coordination, or related roles. You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders at various levels.

We offer challenging work in a respectful and collaborative working environment. We foster a creative learning culture where everyone shares their knowledge, and we have a generous professional development budget. We are currently operating in a hybrid work environment and expect this to continue.

This is a hybrid role, but flexibility to travel for events will sometimes be required.

My client offers a starting salary of £45-50k dependent on experience, 25 days annual leave and great pension.

In addition to this, other benefits include; Flexible working - we’ll support you, wherever possible, a buy and sell annual leave scheme, Private Medical Insurance, Medicash Health Cash Plan, Employee Assistance Programme, Rental deposit loan and/or Season ticket loan, Group life insurance, Christmas closure and Enhanced maternity, shared parental leave and paid paternity leave.
