Are you an experienced and dynamic individual with a passion for event management? Our clients are currently seeking an Events Operations Manager to join their team and help them create unforgettable experiences for their attendees.
  
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Manager who has a history of delivery successful, high end, bespoke events. You must be ambitious and driven as you will be given every opportunity to progress within the role and company. We are looking for a strong leader, who willingly takes responsibility and strives for perfection in everything they do.
  
As an Events Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of event operations to ensure seamless execution and exceptional attendee experiences.
With a wide range of events, such as conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, lunches & dinners, your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities will be crucial for success in this role.
  
  
Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Manage staff, suppliers & partners across all aspects of the event, ensuring seamless execution of events from setup to breakdown.
Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of event staff, including servers, coordinators, and support staff, to guarantee exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
Client Interaction: Interact with clients and event organizers to understand their requirements, address concerns, and ensure all expectations are met or exceeded. Be present at all times to drive standards and build long term client relationships.
Logistics Coordination: Plan & coordinate event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and coordination of staff to guarantee the smooth flow of events. You will work closely with all heads of department and collaborate with event planners and stakeholders to understand event requirements, objectives, and budget constraints and ensuring all client specifics are organised and detailed.
Problem Resolution: Anticipate and proactively address any operational issues or challenges that may arise during events, providing quick and effective solutions, ensuring a positive experience for clients and guests.
Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for various event related services. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  

Requirements
  • Previous operational event management experience is a must within Conference & Events Venue / high-end Event Caterer.
  • Have dedication and a genuine passion for food, drinks, people, and a desire to deliver faultless events.
  • You will be efficient, detailed and highly productive individual with a proactive and flexible approach as well as a 'Can-do', enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities & problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills & ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
